Tempted to upgrade your kitchen kit this summer? If you’ve been thinking of treating yourself to some pro-cook gadgetry, here’s a very good reason to take the plunge…
After a very successful series of events last year, we’ve once again joined forces with the gourmet gizmo kings at Kenwood to offer anyone buying a stand mixer from the Kenwood Chef range a free Masterclass at an NCSG school. That’s a full half-day, hands-on, expert-led cooking class specially designed to help ambitious home cooks master their new mixers.
From now until 8 July, if you buy a new Kenwood Cooking Chef, Chef Sense XL or Chef Titanium* from any retailer, you’ll have 30 days to claim a free place on a masterclass course at your most convenient of 10 participating UK cookery schools.
Edinburgh New Town Cookery School, Edinburgh
Swinton Cookery School, Ripon
Wilmslow Kitchen, Cheshire
Eckington Manor, Derbyshire
Cambridge Cookery School, Cambridge
Kent Cookery School, Ashford
Waitrose Cookery School, Salisbury
Ashburton Cookery School, Devon
The chef-tutors from each of the above schools have all devised bespoke classes that make the most of Kenwood machines’ considerable capabilities, from whipping up fluffily perfect doughs to mixing brilliant batters, and, thanks to Kenwood’s arsenal of attachments, a whole lot more.
Each class lasts between two and four hours, and features at least three recipes hand-picked from the school’s curriculum – ranging from home-cooking essentials to restaurant-quality dishes ideal for entertaining. By the time you leave, you’ll not only have the skills to recreate the dishes at home, you’ll also know your new Kenwood machine inside out, and be able to turn it to a multitude of kitchen tasks.
To book a free class, all you need to do is buy a Kenwood machine, upload your proof of purchase here on the NCSG site (a photo of your receipt will do the job), and pick a date and school that suits you – before 8 August 2019.
