Wilmslow Kitchen Cookery School

Specialities

Set up in 2014 by husband-and-wife chef team Sarah and David Bridge, the Wilmslow Kitchen is tucked away behind a brace of Ferrari and Porsche garages, but its innocuous industrial setting belies the electric atmosphere within. Here, classes offer a congenial mix of learning and socialising with other guests – the highlight of the evening courses is the opportunity to sit down together afterwards and enjoy the fruits of your culinary education. The diversity of David and Sarah’s kitchen careers and globetrotting palates is reflected in the breadth of options available; students can learn to steam their own dim sum and gyoza, discover the intricate art of classic French pâtisserie, cook up street-food specialities from Mexico City to Mumbai, plan and prepare the perfect dinner party menu, or hone essential skills such as bread making, cake baking and fish filleting. Catering to anyone with an interest in food form the harried home cook to the seasoned professional, the school provides bespoke courses and private lessons too, and lives up to its Cheshire-set reputation as a top quality foodie jaunt.
